Author Note
Just One Night will always be so special to me because it was the first of my books to hit the USA TODAY bestseller list. I still remember exactly where I was sitting in Jak’s steakhouse in Issaquah Washington, with Mr. Layne and two of my closest friends when I got the news.
This book also is one that shaped up so differently in reality than how I thought it would be. Riley was a softer character than anticipated, and there was a sweetness to this story that I didn’t expect. I didn’t even realize I wanted to write a “brother’s best friend” story until these two characters popped into my head!

I’ve made the unusual decision not to show the official book covers on my official author website for a variety of reasons:
Most of my books have multiple cover versions depending on language/country; the US English version is only one of many.
Several of my cover designs were spot-on when they released, but are now quite dated even though the love stories within are timeless.
I have an unwavering love for neutral colors, and elegantly minimalist design. The current rom-com cover trend towards candy colored cartoons is not my jam.
My website is my chance to present my work my way.
