Some Details

Vibe

Classic rom-com energy with a touch of astrology and science thrown in for a little extra sparkle.

Heat Level

PG with no sex scenes.

POV

First person, heroine only.

Tone

This is at its core, a romance, but this one has a quiet richness compared to some of my fluffier books, especially as it relates to Miranda’s self-discovery.

Author Note

To be really honest, I wanted to take a break from writing. Not retire, just … do something new.

And then, the second I tell my agent that, I get The Idea. A physics professor who decides to study astrology. I don’t know where it came from; I’m not the least bit into astrology, and physics fascinates me, but is entirely over my head.

It demanded to be written. The research was intense (astrology is no joke!) but the result was worth it.

My only regret is not be able to linger with Miranda and Archer up on their roof top a bit longer and feel all the feels with them.

A Little Excerpt

“I had a plan,” I say finally, staring out at the water because it’s easier than looking at him.

“And now?”

I let out a quiet laugh. “Now I’m apparently taking life advice from a horoscope.”

He’s quiet for a beat. “And?”

I glance over at him. “And it led me here.”

Something in his expression shifts, just slightly.

on Book Covers

I’ve made the unusual decision not to show the official book covers on my official author website for a variety of reasons:

  • Most of my books have multiple cover versions depending on language/country; the US English version is only one of many.

  • Several of my cover designs were spot-on when they released, but are now quite dated even though the love stories within are timeless.

  • I have an unwavering love for neutral colors, and elegantly minimalist design. The current rom-com cover trend towards candy colored cartoons is not my jam.

My website is my chance to present my work my way.
