I honestly can’t take any credit for this series premise! My publisher at the time wanted something similar to Blue Bloods, but with an Italian family. I live in NYC … they tapped my agent on the shoulder, she tapped my shoulder, and I thought, “Well, I’ll never know until I tried!”

It was a challenge, but I’m really proud of how the series came out. The covers look like romantic suspense, but I wrote these as just good old-fashioned romance novels with a lot of spice. All three books received starred reviews from Publishers Weekly, which is the first and only time I’ve ever had a “series sweep.”

I’m grateful the publisher did a custom photo shoot for the covers, although I didn’t feel the models or tone are particularly suited to the stories, so you’ve been warned that what you see is probably not what you’re going to get.
